PROJECT: Tournament Darling Harbour 2024
OVERVIEW:
Full contact rugby union is played on a 30 x 30 meter floating pitch – where the players have to dive into the water to score & can be tackled off the side.
Set in Sydney’s iconic Darling Harbour, the Aqua Rugby Festival was held from 11 to 13 April 2024. It featured global rugby stars and a diverse range of invitational clubs.
My role as executive producer was to curate and produce the event in a new location. We developed new strategies to drive revenue and infrastructure suited to the new environment to ensure a safe and successful event.
