PROJECT: Tournament Darling Harbour 2024
OVERVIEW:
Aqua Rugby is a high-impact rugby union tournament played on a 30 x 30 metre floating pitch, where players dive into the water to score and can be tackled off the sides. The 2024 festival took place in Sydney’s iconic Darling Harbour from 11–13 April, featuring international rugby stars and a wide range of invitational clubs.
As Executive Producer, I was responsible for curating and delivering the event in a brand-new location. This included developing revenue-generating strategies and adapting infrastructure to suit the unique aquatic environment, ensuring a safe, efficient, and memorable experience for players and spectators alike.
